REMEMBER TO BRING BASIC SEWING SUPPLIES IF YOU SIGN-UP FOR WORKSHOPS OR HANDS-ON CLASSES You will need to bring the following supplies if you are taking any hands-on classes: sharp sewing shears, rotary cutter, cutting mat, straight pins, marking tool, ruler, tape measure, #2 pencils and notepad. Sewing machines are provided in the classroom. Students should check class descriptions for additional items needed


Public Show Vendor Sales – full time position – immediate openingAs a Public Show Salesperson you will be responsible for the financial success of our public expo events. You will be responsible for selling the expo by contacting former vendors and cold calling potential new vendors as well as sponsorship and help build attendance. Your responsibility will be to foster and maintain relationships with key industry accounts to increase vendor sales and attendance by communicating the value of the event. Candidate will also assist in expanding to different markets.

Sherrill LewisSherrill is an award-winning designer of bead-embellished items, bead-woven tapestries, distinctive beaded jewelry and artwork, and cloth dolls. She has been beading since the 1980s, becoming a professional in 1994. A Bead Elf (pattern proofing and model making) for Suzanne Cooper in Second Looks and Far Away Places; and Valerie Hixson in Blooming Beads, her work has also appeared in Fire Mountain Gems' catalogs (1999, 2000), Beadwork magazine, and The Crafts Report (July 2003). Since 2003, when she began following the quilt show circuit, Sherrill has spoken to and given short beading demonstrations at shows in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Colorado, and Louisiana; has taught workshops in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas; and upcoming classes in other states. A resident of Stillwater, OK, she teaches at Multi Arts Center, and at her home-based studio.

Fancy Beaded Edgings for Cabochons or Buttons
Hands on class
Instructor: Sherrill Lewis, The Bead Ranch!
We'll explore several different edgings for jazzing up cabochons on sample cloth. Then you'll choose one to go with your cabochon. This class is designed for beginner/intermediate skill level. Kit fee $25.
