Full Spectrum Dye Class

Learn to mix a 12 step Full Spectrum color palette, then dye a light, medium and dark value gradation of each color. All in a 4 hour class! Create Your Own Quilting Patterns

Quilts of A Different Color

3 hour hands-on color application with pencils Class Limit 30 Learn how easy it is to apply color using regular colored pencils to a small, quilted piece. Don't be afraid of using bold, bright colors to create great contrast and drama to your piece. Also learn how to do very impressive looking shading in order to create a 3D effect. Your design might look bright, or very soft if you prefer. After you learn how easy it is, you will ask yourself why didn't you try it a long time ago!

You will take it to the next level by adding fusible applique hearts and learning options to finish the raw edges. Kit fee $28 includes 8 batik fat quarters, fusible, thread, pattern. Optional $22 kit fee for finishing kit which includes binding and backing.

Fancy Beaded Edgings for Cabochons or Buttons

--32 light 8 3/8" squares (total of 2 yards of fabric). Use smaller amounts of a variety of fabrics for scrappier look, must contract with darks.

Perfect bindings every time. Learn perfect mitered corners and no fuss, smooth end seams with Debbie's Brilliant Bindings © tool and technique. Instruction also includes steps for making continuous straight-of-grain and bias binding. The final process of stitching the binding to the back will be shown by hand and machine. Binding samples will be made in class to use for future reference along with a completely bound "brag book" incorporating all steps.
