CONNIE SHERLOCK
Connie SherlockSon Shine Seed Company
Connie Sherlock is the owner and pattern designer for Son Shine Seed Company and Among Country Friends. Her patterns include quilts, primitive stitchery, punch needle, punch rug hooking, wool applique, wearables, country/prim dolls and more. Several of Connie's patterns have been digitized for machine embroidery. In addition to pattern designing Connie is a website designer specializing in sewing related sites. Sherlock Designs offers an affordable do-it-yourself shopping cart program for the small businesswoman. Connie participates as a teacher and a vendor in several Quilting expos and various quilt guild shows. She has recently been asked to be a guest speaker at various quilt guild meetings and plans on doing more in the future.

As a result of selling her handmade dolls and critters at craft shows people began to ask for patterns of the dolls. In 1991 Among Country Friends pattern company began and has grown to over 200 patterns. Between the two lines of patterns Connie is unsure how many patterns she has designed in the last 19 years.
